The Lakiest Lake House Ever

A white A-frame under a navy roof, tall pines all around, and a wall of glass that opens straight onto the deck and the dock.

Inside, it's navy and white from top to bottom: a weathered trestle table on indigo pedestals, navy leather and brass nailheads, striped drapes, a window seat for watching the boats and a whole wall of old oars. Almost too much, and that's the fun of it.

Every piece is solid hardwood, made to order in Amish workshops, and built to outlast a great many summers.
